The drag-enhancing deorbit technology refers to the passive deorbiting technology which makes the most use of atmosphere drag of rarefied gas to greatly accelerate the orbit decay of the end-of-life spacecraft by utilization of drag device with large deployment ratio.The aerodynamic coefficients of the drag-enhancing deorbit device in rarefied flow are key parameters for predicting the time of deorbit process.The DSMC method is employed to carry out the computation of the aerodynamic characteristics of the drag-enhancing deorbit device in free molecular flows,which provides a basis for the subsequent calculation of the spacecraft deorbiting dynamics.
